The 91快活林 Culinary Arts Program will host the second of three special Buffet Nights this Thursday at the 91快活林 Culinary Institute (?Our Place?) in historic downtown Pittsburg.
Dinners 鈥燼re open to the public and will be held鈥爁rom 6:00-7:30 p.m.鈥爋n October 3 and October 17. Seating is restaurant-style and to-go orders will be available by calling ahead to鈥903-434-8333鈥燭he cost is $10 per person. Reservations for dine-in will not be accepted.
"The response to our first buffet night was huge. We are so excited to be able to let our students showcase their skills to the community," Chef Kathleen Miller, Instructor, said.
The October 3 theme will be ?Noche Romantica? and will include: South of the Border tortilla soup, honey garlic fajitas with Spanish orzo, and coffee chili cheesecake with a churro crust for dessert.
October 17 will be a ?Rustic Harvest? that includes curried squash and apple soup, stuffed pork loin with a white wine cream sauce, roasted potatoes with garlic butter thyme sauce, and a pumpkin br藲l脠e tart topped with caramel whipped cream for dessert.鈥燜or more details about these events or to learn more about the culinary program at 91快活林, visit鈥.
