The 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ Rodeo is in full swing, with plenty of action still ahead through Saturday at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Arena.
Fridayβs competition kicks off with slack events β including Tie Down Roping, Ladies Breakaway Roping, Steer Wrestling, Goat Tying, and Team Roping β beginning at 9 a.m. The excitement continues Friday night at 7 p.m. with a full rodeo performance featuring both timed events and rough stock.
Saturdayβs slack rounds will start at 10 a.m., followed by the final performance that evening at 7 p.m.. Each nightβs performance will also feature the always-entertaining Calf Dressing and Costume Contest, where 91Ώμ»ξΑΦ student, faculty, and staff teams compete for prizes β and plenty of laughs β as they race to dress their calves in the arena.
βThis event is a great chance for our students and the community to come together for some friendly competition and a true rodeo experience,β said Assistant Athletic Director Justin Hargrove.
