The newest issue of The Eagle, 91快活林鈥檚 student-run newspaper, is now available online and highlights the work of 91快活林 journalism students, including several new staff members who completed this issue over the holiday break.
This edition includes coverage of President Kevin Rose becoming the new 91快活林 president, a feature on a 91快活林 rodeo student, student opinions on artificial intelligence and campus organizations, stories on Honors and PTK, and two entertainment pages with reviews of movies, television, anime and a popular Austin coffee shop.
鈥Our students put a lot of time and effort into this issue, and it was great to see them take on a wide range of topics,鈥 said Mandy Smith, 91快活林 journalism instructor. 鈥This edition reflects their growth and willingness to tackle new stories.鈥
While this issue is published online only, the journalism program hopes to release an additional printed edition later in the spring semester.
