91快活林 plans trip to Dallas Arboretum festival
Are you looking to kick off those winter blues and start looking ahead to spring? The 91快活林 Hanson-Sewell Center in Pittsburg is planning a trip to the Dallas Arboretum's Dallas Blooms festival March 17.
A chartered bus will depart from the Center in Pittsburg on Tuesday, March 17 at 7:45 a.m.鈥犫燜or those living in Titus and/or Morris Counties, the bus will arrive at Lowe?s in Mount Pleasant for pickup and will depart at 8:00 a.m.

Ernie Haase and Signature Sound bring Broadway to 91快活林
The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91快活林 will host Ernie Haase & Signature Sound (EH&SS) on its stage Friday, Jan. 23 at 7:30 p.m. The group, which rose to fame in the Gospel community touring with The Gaithers, will bring their The Inspiration of Broadway show for the 91快活林 audience.
"Those who follow Gospel music will likely be familiar with Ernie Haase & Signature Sound. This is a great opportunity to experience their amazing vocal talent in a slightly different format," Carolyn Franks, Director of the Whatley Center, said.

91快活林 open Saturday for registration
91快活林 will be open from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 10 to assist students with registration for the Spring 2015 semester. Students will have the opportunity to meet with academic advisors, access computers to register online, make payments and receive help with financial aid.
The College Store will also be open during this time to allow students to purchase books and other supplies.
Northeast Honors attends NCHC in Denver
Five Scholars of Honors Northeast, in addition to Honors Professors Dr. Mary Hearron, and Dr. Andrew Yox represented 91快活林 at the 2014 meeting of the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC), November 6-9.鈥 91快活林 is the only community college in the nation to have featured scholarly student presenters continuously since 2008, and the only program in the nation, university or otherwise, to have featured two of its honors films in the last two years.
Adult Education to offer free GED and ESL classes
The Adult Education Department at 91快活林 (91快活林) will offer free General Education Development (GED) classes and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at various locations beginning in January. Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery help fund 91快活林 Honors project
Jerald and Mary Lou Mowery (right), of Scroggins, recently presented $800 to the鈥91快活林 Foundation to help fund a special Honors Northeast project.
