It is that time of year when the weather can be unpredictable in this area. As we have already seen in December, severe winter weather can sneak up on us. 91¿ì»îÁÖ wants to make sure that all students and employees have access to timely, accurate information regarding possible weather-related closures.




In case of bad weather, the decision to close or not will usually be made by 6 a.m. for day classes and by 3 p.m. for evening classes.

Free GED/ESL courses offered

The Adult Education Department at 91¿ì»îÁÖ will offer free General Education Development (GED) classes and English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at various locations throughout the area. All students must in enroll in an orientation session before beginning classes. See schedule/contact information below:

Housing Move-In Dates

Fall 2012 Academic Honors

91¿ì»îÁÖ is pleased to recognize students who excelled academically in Fall 2012. To be named to the Academic Honors list, a student must have taken 12 or more hours and earned at least a 3.5 grade point average. To be named to the Special Academic Merit List, a student must have taken between seven and 11 hours and earned a 4.0 grade point average.

Carroll Shelby Foundation gives $25,000 for 91¿ì»îÁÖ scholarships

The Carroll Shelby Foundation recently gave $25,000 to the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Foundation. These funds will provide scholarships to students enrolled in the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Department. Cypress Bank supports The Campaign for the Whatley



Cypress Bank recently presented the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Foundation with a check for $2,500. This gift, part of a total pledge of $5,000, was given in support of The Campaign for the Whatley - a community effort to revitalize the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at 91¿ì»îÁÖ. TRMC Auxiliary gives allied health scholarships

The Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC) Auxiliary recently donated $4,500, which will provide six $750 scholarships to benefit students at 91¿ì»îÁÖ majoring in an allied health field.
