Dominique Spigner provides psychotherapy services to pre-adolescent teens, adults, families, and couples using a variety of therapeutic modalities. Faith-Based Therapy, Adjustment/Mood Disorder, Depression, Grief, Anxiety, and Stress Disorders are just a few of his specialties. Patients might be referred by their doctors or they can self-refer.
Texas Hleaht and Human Services assist Texans who are eligible for critical services such as SNAP food benefits, Medicaid, and the Children's Health Insurance Program in obtaining them.
Titus County Cares operates a food pantry that provides essential support to our neighbors in need by distributing groceries, produce, and shelf-stable items to help stretch household budgets. Monthly produce drops are available to the entire community, offering access to fruits and vegetables on the last Friday of every month from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. in the First Baptist Church parking lot at 2201 TX-49, Mount Pleasant, TX 75455. Our mission is to alleviate hunger and food insecurity for all ages.
Goodwill Industries of Northeast Texas is controlled by a volunteer Board of Directors and is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Bryan, Grayson, Collin, Fannin, Hunt, Delta, Hopkins, Lamar, Red River, Bowie, Titus, Camp, Cass, Morris, and Franklin counties are currently served. They have 13 retail locations, one Goodwill outlet, and four processing facilities that offers gently used clothes and house essentials.
Cypress Basin Hospice runs a thrift store that sells gently used apparel, furniture, appliances, and gadgets, as well as books, photos, and other stuff. Donations are always appreciated, and revenues from the thrift stores go toward funding the numerous programs and services they provide.
Mt. Pleasant, Texas-based Hope Ministries is a community-based program. They serve to give single women with children the tools they need to break the poverty cycle. As a result, they provide single mothers with children with the opportunity to experience life transformation in a loving, Christian community where they can obtain an education, restore their identity, find emotional healing, and create lasting change (in both their own and their children's lives) as they work toward self-sufficiency.
SAFE-T Crisis Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that began serving domestic violence and sexual assault victims in East Texas in 1994. With four offices, one shelter, one safe house, and a thrift store, SAFE-T now serves nine counties. They provide advocacy and education, and they work to create an environment where violence, abuse, and oppression are not tolerated. They also provide assistance to help survivors heal.
