Have you ever heard of GlideApps.com? 91¿ì»îÁÖ’s own Kaymon Farmer, Director of Student Development and Inclusion, is planning an exciting class to teach students how to use Glide Apps software to build stunning web apps without using complicated coding.
For the 9th consecutive year, 91¿ì»îÁÖ is hosting the summer Work4College program. Over 10-weeks, students in the program have the opportunity to work in 27 different areas across 5 different campuses to earn income for their future 91¿ì»îÁÖ education.

Brenda Godoy, a Presidential Scholar at 91¿ì»îÁÖ from 2016 to 2018, has just won her second $150,000 Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship, this one for graduate school. The former Titus County Community Health Worker (CHW), and Mount Pleasant High School salutatorian will attend Medical School, in Fort Worth this fall.
Yadira Muñoz, Admissions Counselor for Texas A&M University-Commerce, is coming to 91¿ì»îÁÖ on Tuesday, June 14. She will be in the Career and Transfer Center in BT 111 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Muñoz will assist students with their applications and answer questions about transferring to A&M-Commerce.

91¿ì»îÁÖ Athletics partnered with the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association to provide Sports Medicine Coverage for the 58th Annual MPRA Rodeo held June 1-4, 2022 in Mount Pleasant, Texas.
The 91¿ì»îÁÖ library was one of 77 libraries nationwide to be awarded an emergency relief grant from The American Library Association (ALA). The fund is providing $1.55 million in emergency relief grants to libraries that have experienced substantial economic hardship due to the coronavirus pandemic. Through the ALA COVID Library Relief Fund, 91¿ì»îÁÖ will be awarded $20,000 to support library services and operations.

Three 91¿ì»îÁÖ history students emerged on top in the 2021 Bonnie Spencer competition, for the best student essays in history. Essays could have been entered from any history course from any history instructor, full-time or part-time, on campus or off, such as with embedded dual history classes.
The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Career and Transfer Center will host two opportunities for students to meet with university representatives next week. UT Tyler Admissions Coordinator, Annie Garcia, will be on campus June 7 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Career and Transfer Center in BT 111B. Texas A&M University Texarkana at 91¿ì»îÁÖ Admissions Counselor, Jennifer Perez, will be in the same location from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 8.
The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Professional Driving Academy continues to grow and supply high-demand CDL drivers to the local area. Four new students recently graduated from the program.
