The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Foundation recently received a $5,000 gift from Gateway Bronco. The funds will be used to provide scholarships for students in 91¿ì»îÁÖ’s Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Program. 91¿ì»îÁÖ Softball had their season home opener on Monday against North Central Texas College. NCTC would take down the Eagles in both games on a windy day at Eagle Field at 91¿ì»îÁÖ.

91¿ì»îÁÖ Baseball kicked off the 2022 spring season with a double header against Grayson College on the 91¿ì»îÁÖ Campus on Monday. 91¿ì»îÁÖ and Grayson would split the series with the Eagles taking game one 5-3 and Grayson winning the second game 9-2.

After outstanding performances in the fall semester, Bekah Contreras (left), and Hope Kelly have entered the ranks of Honors Northeast, 91¿ì»îÁÖ’s Honors Program.

Jessie Parchman, a Presidential Honors Scholar at 91¿ì»îÁÖ and a Chapel Hill high school senior, became the first person from this region to attend the Public Leadership Education Network Conference (PLEN).  Jessie also serves as a chapter officer for 91¿ì»îÁÖ’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter, Alpha Mu Chi.

The 91¿ì»îÁÖ Career and Transfer Team will host a FAFSA Day event on Wednesday, Feb. 16. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in BT 111B. Staff will be available to assist students with completing their FAFSA application, so please bring parent(s) and student 2020 W2s and tax returns.

The funds will be used to support 91¿ì»îÁÖ’s Carroll Shelby Automotive Program.

Students of Honors Northeast took yet another festive day trip  to the Dallas metro last Friday, 28 January.  With the help of donors to Honors Northeast, especially Drs. Jim and Paula Archer, the group enjoyed many special experiences.
