Texas A&M-Texarkana invites 91����� students and staff to attend this event on their main campus

Nobel laureate Dr. Roy Glauber, Mallinckrodt Professor Emeritus of Physics at Harvard University, will discuss ?Some Recollections of Los Alamos and the Nuclear Era? on Monday, April 4, at 7 p.m.

The 91����� chapter of the Psi Beta honors society will host a Suicide Prevention Conference and 5K Walk to Fight Suicide Saturday, April 23. The event will be held on the 91����� campus and the conference will begin with two speakers at 5 p.m. in the†Whatley Foyer. The walk will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The public is invited to participate in the event. The cost is $20 per person if pre-registered early by April 7 and $25 the day of the walk. T-shirts will be available to those who pre-registered.

Dr. Andrew Yox, 91�����'s Honors Director, recently reached a climactic moment of his †twenty-year career in Northeast Texas.

On March 4 in Irving, The Texas State Historical Association (TSHA) awarded Yox the Mary Jon and J.P. Bryan Leadership in Education Award, a citation that came with a $5,000 prize.† It is the top financial award granted each year by the TSHA, open to university and college educators in history throughout the state.
